RENATO NOCENTE founded its cellar in 1985 at S. Matteo di Cisterna d'Asti, a suitable and evocative area, with its terraced vineyards providing a frame for the cellar.
The history of Renato Nocente is rooted in the production and marketing of the great wines of the Langhe and Roero - the great grandfathers of the present owners were cultivating and producing wine in these hills.
In the cellar, one finds wines produced in the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato by talented wine makers with whom Renato Nocente has established collaborative relationships, working with them in cultivating the wineyards, the various phases of winemaking and the aging of the wines, heeding the
artisan's traditions required by the prestigious wines of the region, but also using the tools best suited for winemaking which permit the production of wines
appreciated throghout the world today.
The wines of the Renato Nocente Cellar are all produced in the most fertile and sunny vineyards of their respective regions.
